Activdogs is now Steven Symonds — Dog Behaviour & Training. A name that better reflects the work I do.

ALL ABOUT PUPPIES

Four private sessions to help you give your puppy a thoughtful, practical start.

Bringing a puppy home is exciting. It can also be surprisingly tiring and confusing once the reality of broken sleep, toilet training, biting, chewing and conflicting advice kicks in.

All About Puppies gives you four one-to-one sessions that change as your puppy changes. We deal with what matters now, while building the skills and habits you will want later.

YOU CAN START BEFORE YOUR PUPPY COMES HOME

Preparation can make the first few days much easier.

The first session can take place before collection if you want help preparing the house, choosing equipment, planning sleep and toilet routines, thinking about children or existing pets, and deciding how you want the first few days to look.

A TYPICAL FOUR-SESSION JOURNEY

The programme changes as your puppy changes.

We focus on what matters now, while laying the foundations for what you will need next.

01

First days & nights

Settling in, sleep, toilet training, chewing, biting, routines, management and making the home easy for a puppy to understand.

02

Confidence & socialisation

Helping your puppy experience the world without overwhelming them: people, dogs, handling, sounds, surfaces, travel and the everyday things that matter in your own life.

03

Starting the learning

How puppies learn; attention, recall foundations, Leave, settling, handling and useful everyday skills. This stage includes a bespoke Training Plan.

04

Putting it into practice

An outdoor session where we begin using the skills in the real world — often including recall, lead work and how to make walks useful rather than simply tiring.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

Support that changes with your puppy

• Four private one-to-one sessions.
• Three supporting puppy worksheets.
• One bespoke Training Plan.
• Short-message support between sessions for questions about the work already covered.
• The option to move into Everydog Essentials, Reliable Recall or ongoing coaching later.

BETWEEN SESSIONS

Questions are welcome — within the programme

Between-session messaging is there to help you use the programme, not to replace appointments. New or more complex behaviour problems may need a separate session.

NOT A PUPPY CLASS

Everything is centred on your puppy, your home and the life you actually want to have together.

Group puppy classes can be useful, but this is a different service. If something needs more time, we give it more time. If something is already easy, we move on.
